See also

Can you explain the "See also" links? The only shared trait is that they're older women's colleges. If people want a list of those, they can use the link to Women's college that's already provided. This seems unnecessary. Am I missing something? Beginning 00:07, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

Mark L. Williams

I'm curious as to Mr. Wlliams inclusion on the list of famous alumni. From earlier in the Wiki article its apparent Stephens is an all-womens college. How would a man, especially one born in the mid-50s, have attended? 24.116.149.95 (talk) 01:40, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

I see no "Mark L. Williams" on the list, however, there is a "Mark L. Taylor. Stephens College does allow a limited number of men into its acting and theatre programs. Grey Wanderer (talk) 01:46, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

The males who are allowed to study at Stephens are not considered students, they are "male apprentices" therefore the school does not forfeit its title of "women's college". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.178.123.56 (talk) 02:49, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

How did the name Stephens become associated with the college?

The article is not clear about how the name Stephens became associated with the college. I think this is an important but missing connection.
