Central tendency
editA Google search for "central tendency" and "department of statistics" will demonstrate that statisticians talk about central tendency.Jfitzg
My degree is in the social sciences, but I minored in statistics/data analysis (moonlighting really, as it was a Maths Department course) and I was certainly taught to use "central tendency " by thoe guys. My stats textbooks used it too. Perhaps it varies from one place to another a little. Tannin
Title
editShouldn't the title of this article be "Summary statistics" instead of "Summary statistic"?
The body of the article uses "summary statistics".

I agree, but I don't want to just move it. We should discuss first. --Ctyonahl (talk) 18:08, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
