Article's map

edit

The map on this wiki article includes an area designated as Red Rock and not shaded the same color as Summerlin South on this Clark County map: http://gisgate.co.clark.nv.us/gisplot_pdfs/cp/urbancpa.pdf (retrieved 2007-08-16)

If there's anybody who can edit the map, that'd be great. Ljthefro 08:40, 16 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Income Confusion

edit

108.60.53.18 recently added the following to the article.

"It is one of the wealthiest and highest-income places in the United States"

108.60.53.18's edit was WP:SYNTH based on incorrect data. The chart used for the statement was wikipedia article List of highest-income places in the United States, which was per capita income. Whereas the figure used for Summerlin South was median household income. Due to incorrect data use and WP:SYNTH, I reverted the edit.

206.117.88.4 then added a similar line by reasoning "If the population was higher, Summerlin South would be ranked in the Top 25 for median household income in the US, which still places it among the wealthiest places in the country"

206.117.88.4 essentially admits in his reasoning that he is doing WP:SYNTH, a violation of wikipedia policies. He also provides no source for the statement. His reasoning is also incorrect. CNNMoney's latest 2013 top 25 earning towns, the 25th ranked town has a median household income of $142,712. Which is above Summerlin South's listed median income in this article of $87,147. Due to WP:SYNTH and his reasoning being wrong, I reverted the edit. BlackHades (talk) 23:43, 26 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
