“Sunny Jim” in “Tintin and the Picaros”…

The reference made by Jolyon Wagg in “Picaros” is not to a separate character called “Sunny Jim”, but to himself… He uses it in the same way someobody might have said “Muggins here” - it reflects the nature of his character that he a) always adopts an air of false modesty, and b) uses needlessly wordy speech; most notably, the costumes themselves are awful… That this is the intention of Michael Turner, who always concocted Wagg’s dialogue, can be confirmed by the fact that the original French text states quite clearly that Wagg (Lampion in French) designed the outfits.Jock123 (talk) 21:36, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Not just Peanut Butter

I thought it was odd that every reference to Sunny Jim (the Seattle company) calls it a peanut butter company, when I clearly remember eating Sunny Jim jam as a kid. Then I found this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/roadsidepictures/4860704239/ -- a picture of a Sunny Jim jam jar. I can't edit the article now because I'm working, but I leave the link here in case someone can make use of it sometime as a reference. 66.235.8.177 (talk) 14:59, 16 November 2010 (UTC)
