Merger Proposal

edit

Swaan and Soan River are the names of the same river, located in same area (photohar region) with same co-ordinates (33°1'12"N 71°43'19"E) as you can see here for Swaan River and here for Soan River.

Also if you follow the river path back here, you'll see other versions of the spellings as well, Sawan and Swan. Samar (Talk . Contributions) 07:48, 11 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I agree with the suggestion, there is ample confusion about the name of this river and I think these are the same rivers having done some work on them.

So how do i merge now? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.69.8.178 (talk) 10:42, 4 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Inappropriate tone

edit

Near Pharwala Fort it cuts through a high mountain range, a wonderful natural phenomenon called Swan Cut. No stream can cut such a high mountain, which proves that the Swaan was there before the formation of this range. And as the mountain rose through millions of years, the stream continued its path...

Doesn't sound right for an encyclopedic article. Needs major change in tone and style. Samar (Talk . Contributions) 19:35, 6 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Grammar and Spelling Changes

edit

I just made some minor edits to the tone of the article. There are probably still some issues with it, but most of the non-encyclopedic-sounding sentences have been replaced. Sxlzbxch (talk) 13:42, 20 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Wrong Citation

edit

I just removed one citation given about Sihala Industrial State as the link doesn't mention anything about it. Editor1116024 (talk) 08:08, 29 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
