Is it just me, or does much of this article read like an advertisement? vmz (talk) 11:47, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- It's not just you. This article just about made me wretch. 76.105.147.25 (talk) 06:59, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- Well the company doesn't really have a positive history, especially in regards to its review. But I'll explain in brief
branding history
- Initial operation TigerTV and YouTube (TigerDirectBlog and CompUSA TV)
- In Q3 or Q4 2008, heavily criticized by its viewer for unethical marketing, Ward Hale (aka Logan [his TV name]) left to join Gameriot, Raze the World.
- Systemax seeking to rebrand its reputation, it took over the TigerDirectBlog and FreakingLogan, nevertheless the fans were furious.
ComputerTV branding
rebranding methods:
I guess since they lost a lot of viewers, they tried to do tv personality coverage on trade shows, giveaways and teentechtv is probably similar to the Microsoft initiative and program culture.
Anyhow there isn't much to say about the company. If you write it, it might just deleted due to notability reason. --75.154.186.99 (talk) 03:27, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
Well, they are one of the few retail computer sellers that sell PCs assembled in the USA. Seems like that should be noted in the article.68.186.48.171 (talk) 01:53, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
