Relationship with syndromic autism

edit

@Channelopathy I see that you included autism-related categories. What's the relationship with syndromic autism? Perhaps you could elaborate on that in the main text.--TempusTacet (talk) 12:40, 16 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

It has been reported in some individuals with TRPM3 disorder.
"Features of autism spectrum disorder have been reported in 8/28 individuals including stereotypies, poor eye contact, and sensitivities to touch and taste. Some children with TRPM3-NDD have also been reported to have frequent aggressive outbursts."

@Channelopathy Thanks. I believe that it would make sense to add this information and to also add TRPM3 in the syndromic autism article (even without this draft being a proper article in the "main namespace" yet). I don't see a problem with your draft, aside from the fact that perhaps 28 cases total are not sufficient to meet Wikipedia's notability requirements. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm qualified/allowed to review/approve this draft but I'll see if I can find a way to speed this up.--TempusTacet (talk) 15:59, 16 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
