Wikilink to Højskole
editThis was inapropriate since Højskole redirects to Folkehøjskole, and DTH was not a folkehøjskole.
Until the recent Americanization of the education system, only institutions with the classical four faculties divinity, law (called social sciences these days), medicine and philosophy were called universities. More specialised university level schools were high schools. E.g. the High School of Dentistry, The Royal Veterinarian and Agricultural High School, The High School of Journalism, The Pharmaceutical High School.
I don't think an encyclopedia in English needs such historical details of the Danish language, so I will leave it here on the discussion page.
- That's what I came here to find out, so I'd be happy to see it on the article page. Sadly, information on the discussion pages eventually gets hidden. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.159.58.220 (talk) 21:00, 21 October 2022 (UTC)

Rasmus Larsen
editThe info box lists Rasmus Larsen as "provost". The name links to a redirect to a different Rasmus Larsen, who has only a paragraph in his brother's article. I do not know how the fix this. I think the best way would be to move the redirect page to "Rasmus Larsen (basketball)".--Klausok (talk) 06:07, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
- I removed the link of Rasmus Larsen to the wrong person. Perhaps the simplest fix is to write a biography (assuming he is notable) for Rasmus Larsen (provost) and then link to that article. Gab4gab (talk) 13:27, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
- That would be ideal. The prorektor of DTU must be notable. But I know nothing about him. I think (provost) is unnecessary. There is currently no Rasmus Larsen article.--Klausok (talk) 14:12, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
"DTU (redirect)" listed at Redirects for discussion
editA discussion is taking place to address the redirect DTU (redirect). The discussion will occur at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2021 January 26#DTU (redirect) until a consensus is reached, and readers of this page are welcome to contribute to the discussion. 𝟙𝟤𝟯𝟺𝐪𝑤𝒆𝓇𝟷𝟮𝟥𝟜𝓺𝔴𝕖𝖗𝟰 (𝗍𝗮𝘭𝙠) 07:40, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
Funding?
editI'm getting the vibe that it was founded as a private/commercial institution, and merged into the state system in several steps? How is training and research funded now? 1.159.58.220 (talk) 21:02, 21 October 2022 (UTC)

A handful of the university's departments have their own article and would be difficult to expand into substantial pages. I think that their contents would fit better on this page and propose merging Center for Electron Nanoscopy, DTU Campus Village, DTU Diplom, Risø DTU National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy, DTU Space, DTU Vet, National Veterinary Institute, and Technical University of Denmark Department of Mathematics into Technical University of Denmark. This would allow the list of departments currently on the university's page to be expanded into prose. Uffda608 (talk) 16:29, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
