Feminist Technoscience

edit

I find the fact that the International Journal of Feminist Technoscience is listed as an external link on the Technoscience page to be a first good step in including Feminist Technoscience as a subcategory of Technoscience, but additions must be made. Might I suggest a subcategory be added to this page entitled "Feminist Technoscience" that highlights the major works of academics in this field (such as Jean Baudrillard, Donna Haraway, Lucy Suchman and Wendy Chun etc.)? Facets of Technoscience

edit

I would like to add descriptions of different applications of technoscience, specifically, the social, political, and environmental implications of the subject. These will be grouped under a "Facets of Technoscience" heading, with brief examples provided for each section. I would also like to add a scentence to the overall concept description relating technoscience with perceived "necessities" in daily life. Cited work will include that of Edward Woodhouse, Sergio Sismondo, Langdon Winner, and others. Jaymarion21 (talk) 19:32, 21 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Technoscience Definitions and how they relate

edit

I would like to see how the different definitions of Technoscience coexist and interconnect with one another. It would be interesting to see how the philosophical aspect as well as the more common interpretation of the term exist together to shape our knowledge and understanding of Technoscience. Bachelard?

edit

The references to Gaston Bachelard as an original source for the name are quite doubtful. I am not sure that Le matérialisme rationnel contains the birth of the term technoscience… (At least we can note that the page in French never mentions Bachelard.)
