About this queen of Raiatea and Tahaa:
Elle est fille aînée de Tahitoe, roi de Raiatea et Tahaa (1872-1881).
Elle est couronnée en avril 1881 sous le nom de Tehauroa (la paix perpétuelle).
Son père, le roi Tahitoe est fils d'un frère cadet du roi Tamatoa III (roi jusqu'en juillet 1831) et donc cousin germain du roi Moe'ore Tamatoa IV (1831-1857).
