No consensus. See no agreement below to rename to the initialism. As is usual with no-consensus outcomes, editors can strengthen their arguments and try again in a few months to garner consensus for this page move. In regard to article merging suggestions, please see WP:MERGE. Kudos to editors for your input, and Happy Publishing! (nac by page mover) Paine Ellsworth, ed. put'r there 05:21, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
It was proposed in this section that Televisa Univision Deportes Network be renamed and moved to TUDN.

Televisa Univision Deportes Network → TUDN – The Univision Deportes Network will be renamed and rebranded as TUDN this week. [1] Also, the Univision Deportes Network brand will be dropped and deleted completely. Looks like the network will receive a new identity. 87.101.93.110 (talk) 23:57, 15 July 2019 (UTC) --Relisted. - Support move, effective 20 July. Same as always for these cases. O.N.R. (talk) 02:38, 16 July 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose Since Televisa Deportes Network is also rebranding to the new name on the same date, it’s best to create a new page for the rebranded network and leave the current pages as they are. It wouldn’t make sense to change both pages names to the same name since that wouldn’t be possible. Paul Badillo (talk) 04:24, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
- A name like that would be practical, but that means you’d have to change TDN’s page to TUDN (Mexican TV network) as well. Also it’s preferred that the full name Televisa Univision Deportes Network be used instead since TUDN isn’t a widely known name so far. A current example would be TSN in Canada; even though its branded as TSN, that page has its full name The Sports Network. Paul Badillo (talk) 04:29, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
- How is TUDN not a "widely known name" before it's even used on-air? It's the abbreviation. TSN is also not used as the title because of disambiguation reasons, not recognition reasons: I know of no other notable entity using "TUDN" as its name besides this. - Merge both this and Televisa Deportes Network to TUDN with two separate infoboxes Honestly, there's so little content in Televisa Deportes Network (along with a Google Translate-quality flow of grammar there; there's also WP:ADVERT issues solved with a merge rather easily) and they share so much, including their histories, that the only thing we really need to do is maintain both American and Mexican lists of their different held properties within one article. No need to complicate this with long country name disambiguations and separate articles. Also the WP:MOSFLAGS violations need to go. Nate • (chatter) 00:31, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
- Awful Announcing's interview with Univision's Olek Lowenstein, a video uploaded by TUDN Mexico's YouTube channel, and press releases from Univision and Televisa respectively, all suggest that the television channels are not the only ones getting the new TUDN name. Univision's and Televisa's sports divisions themselves also changed their name to TUDN. So I suggest:
- Create an article about TUDN as a brand name, and provide some background knowledge (including the partnership between Univision and Televisa before the TUDN rebrand).
- Move the articles below
- Oppose all. Premature at best, and a mishmash of structure and naming discussions. Work out the structure, and then if and when secondary sources support any article moves, propose those. Andrewa (talk) 17:08, 23 July 2019 (UTC)
