Excessive notes in the Call-out order section
edit@Gthesecond: @ApprenticeFan: @Realitycat72: @YoungForever:. Hello all, I have recognized you have being regular contributors to the Bachelor franchise. I wanted to note the multiple notes in the call-out order list. You have a separate note each for impression rose, date rose, and rose ceremony roses. I find this excessive as you can have simply two notes saying "The contestant received a rose from Gabby" or "The contestant received a rose from Rachel." If there is anything special about the rose (for example first impression rose or date roses), it can be referenced by the different background colors used. It is a minor thing, but I wanted to try to make the table more simple without a lot of notes. If this is not an issue with you guys, I’ll leave it as is. Thank you, Heart (talk) 04:17, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
- I think using different background colors would work better than using the notes. — YoungForever(talk) 05:04, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
I have seen the changes! Thanks so much! Heart (talk) 03:26, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
Complications to the call-out order
editGthesecond ApprenticeFan Realitycat72 YoungForever, I appreciate the concerns being addressed from before. I do want to note the upcoming complications in which I presume to be week three from the looks of the previews. I bring this to your attention to avoid multiple editing conflicts, reverting of edits, and overall chaos in the few weeks to come. How do we want to handle people rejecting a bachelorette’s rose? When that does happen and the other bachelorette chooses them, how do we note that? If the other bachelorette doesn’t choose them, how do we denote that they got sent home, while also still being in the call-out order list. Do we want to skip it all together and just have a straightforward list? Another conversation to be had is if the rose ceremony format changes after the mess of a week (for example, if they separate into two rose ceremonies, at least towards the very end, then I would assume two columns for each week would be made), or something drastically different from the typical format. Any thoughts or ideas so that we can come to a consensus?? Thanks for your time and contributions, Heart (talk) 03:41, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
- I was thinking if one of the guys rejects the rose and the other bachelorette gives them one, it could count as their rose, like if a contestant rejects Gabby's rose because he is interested in Rachel and Rachel gives him a rose/the other way around. If the contestant rejects a rose from one bachelorette and the other does not give him one, I would think he would get the original eliminated background. From the looks of the promos so far, it looks like the rose ceremony will still be held with both bachelorettes for now. I was wondering if we should change the notes to a background color too. I think the notes would get excessive by the end of the season. If there was a background color for Gabby's roses and one for Rachel's roses during the rose ceremony. I was thinking it might be needed since I think they said the men would be making their choice on which bachelorette they like next week. Realitycat72 (talk) 22:32, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
- Hello, for now, do we just want to add two notes, and we can figure out if we want to do anything fancier?
- - One called "RejectedGabby" saying "The contestant was offered a rose by Gabby, but rejected the rose"
- - One called "RejectedRachel" saying "The contestant was offered a rose by Rachel, but rejected the rose"
