The Lightblue Color for Eliminations Chart

If we have light blue we should just use light blue because that is the color of the team. Jillian's Retirement

I've heard rumors that Jillian is retiring after season 11. Is this true?

Yes it is true. But to me, she's just letting those two new unknown trainers break down the doors, i mean really! Jillian, if you're out there, i know that you want to do well with your family and kids, but what about US! i mean you've been doing this for years, but maybe that's why you weren't on season 3 because of this, but now you're doing it again! but to me, i hope it won't be the last time your gonna leave the show, but if you do,...

Week 2 Summary

I am very dissapointed with the summary for week 2:

There was be $10,000, plus immunity, for the teams with two of the four trainers who have lost the highest amount of weight this week, and the members of the Biggest Loser Ranch won it, although Jillian Michaels wasn't feeling too well.

Source for weigh-in figures

Other than people writing them down as the shows air, is there a source for the weigh-in figures? I ask because an anonymous editor changed Rulon's week 4 weight today, and I need to know whether to undo it or carry the change through all of the tables. —C.Fred (talk) 19:31, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, I edited Rulon's week 4 weight. Because I noticed an error. Results the week following a weight gain

In weeks four and five, Don and Irene, respectively, had their starting weights adjusted because they gained weight the prior weight. For scoring purposes, their weights reflected the weight from the week before the gain. I.e., Don gained nine pounds, from 280 to 289, during week three. At the week four weigh-in, it showed his started weight as 280, and even though he actually lost three pounds during the week, the displayed showed +6.

Since that's the results for scoring purposes, shouldn't the weigh-in figures and percentages tables show those results? Should we add an asterisk after the weight and a footnote to explain the apparent scoring anomaly? —C.Fred (talk) 20:51, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

Eliminated Contestants Leaderboard Chart

I was wondering if we could use a leaderboard chart for the eliminated contestants. It would act as the other does, except, it would only have the result that is revealed in the peice at the end of the show. Like for Deni, we would put 170 in the current weight box and then update it again at finale, or rather delete it, since the info would be redundant by then since the pounds lost & percentage lost is in the weigh-in chart. Total votes column

What's the purpose of the total votes column in the player summary? It should be recaptioned if it only represents the votes the eliminated players received and not all players. —C.Fred (talk) 18:41, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

That column didn't make sense. It can't be correct, as not all votes are shown on tv. And besides that, it doesn't mean anything.

About Next Week (Week 12)

I thought that the contestants were gonna split into 4 teams and Marci was gonna return to the competition and then complain that she wanted to go home at the weigh-in. But other people are saying Arthur is gonna return to the competition. NBC has been pretty careful not to reveal that in the teaser for next week's episode. I've looked through the video, and there are a few team assignments visible (Austin on green, Hannah on blue). However, I don't see any shots of the returning player, and even the weigh-in shot—162 pounds, no change—is likely Marci's from week 11.

I mean, I heard Brett say in the preview "What goes around comes around." So I though Marci pulled a zero again and then complained that she didn't need to be there and wanted to go home. It seems someone has added two new contestants (Haya and Nasim) who I have never heard of or seen on the ranch. Nasim even has weigh-in figures history. Current Writing Style

The current writing style for the past few episodes has been very objective. They need to be encyclopedic in nature; therefore a simple summary will suffice. Also, using exclamation points (!) is unnecessary and takes away from the purely informational nature of Wikipedia. Elimination Table

In this and past articles, the elimination table was set up with no column for the finals, but rather with a semifinal column under which "The Biggest Loser" is indicated. This is unfactual and misleading. The title of "The Biggest Loser" is not granted at the semifinals, it is granted at the finals.

Earlier today, I took the liberty of updating the chart on this page. This is one of three instances today where I've done this. I've also made a large batch of other edits to improve the article, as seen in the history. Two editors have made attempts to revert the change, one claiming "You have to follow the rules like the other seasons". There is no rule. There is what is factually correct and factually incorrect. There is no voting in the semifinal episode for at least the last six seasons, possibly more. I recall in Pay It Forward and the season preceding it that the Final Four ran a marathon, then eventually went to weigh in (no marathon this year, but same ending). They didn't vote afterrwards; America did. The results came at the finale. So I changed "Semifinal" to "Finale", which is factually correct. We need to change this precedent and date it back to all seasons where this is relevant. I'm open to having two columns, one for semifinals for the players "at risk" and then a finale column next to it. What was there before my edits was completely incorrect. Inconsistent tense

I posted this question on season 7 too but since affects multiple seasons wanted to get a consensus before doing anything. Some paragraphs are present tense, some are past. My opinion is should all be past tense, and think it would read more encyclopedic anyway but this would several edits not only to this season page but other season synopsis'.
