In order to maintain a neutral point of view we need to avoid using words such as surprisingly. I propose we change this sentence "At the weigh in, surprisingly enough, the Brown team had the highest percentage of weight loss for the week." to "At the weigh in, the Brown team who had the two pound penalty, had the highest percentage of weight loss for the week." Height?

edit

How come for the previous season there was a height and BMI info, while for this season there is no such information.

I've collected the height info for each of the contestants, and calculated the BMI for each contestant.

Any chance we could get Finale BMIs? I'd be really interested to see how some of them ended up in that category. I'm assuming here that the Ending BMI shown is based on when they left the ranch, not the very end.Chaeberle (talk) 13:46, 17 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Weekly Summaries

edit

The week 1 summary is overly long--week 2 is missing. The weekly summaries ought to be short summaries, rather than extended play-by-play. I would recommend that the Week 1 section be pared down to be significantly shorter. Similarly, Week 2 needs to have a brief summary added. --Amallon1130 (talk) 23:18, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Either add it or delete the entire section of summaries because it isn't being updated. 75.89.236.148 (talk) 11:43, 26 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

edit

I have removed the entire 3rd week summary as it was a direct copy from the following site: Source: http://www.dingorue.com/2008/09/30/the-biggest-loser-families-episode-3/.Davehi1 (talk) 19:27, 2 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Are you sure that they hadn't copied from Wikipedia? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.7.17.253 (talk) 18:37, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unsophisticated language in new week 3 recap

edit

The way someone wrote it looks very unprofessional. It includes personal messages to the contestants and inappropriate use of humor and other defects. Please edit the week 3 recap so that it sounds professional. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.156.7.40 (talk) 17:38, 7 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

edit

I just deleted another summary that was a direct copy from http://ihmmblifeandstyle.com/2008/10/01/the-biggest-loser-season-6-episode-3-recap/.Davehi1 (talk) 18:26, 9 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Elimination

edit

Does anybody know if this is the way that they will eliminate players from know, it's a very boring way. Does anyone know?

Week 5

edit

I've deleted this jewel from Week 5: "Heba split the pairs into teams and nobody is happy with her. She's turned out to be a real jerk since her husband left." 71.12.188.4 (talk) 02:01, 15 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Week 8

edit

Shouldn't the purple boxes for the eliminated contestants be under week 7 since the situation usually plays out to be the eliminated person weighing in as an offical contestant by the end of the week? ScottAHudson (talk) 20:00, 11 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

You are probably right, if the weigh-in happens at the start of the week (as it did last season). I can move it. Plastikspork (talk) 20:21, 11 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Should we make week 8 span 2 columns, otherwise there isn't space for either Phillips mid-episode weigh-in or for Ed's mid-episode weigh-in. We could make the Week 8 header span two columns. What do you think? 98.212.146.121 (talk) 03:00, 12 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Promo for 11/25 episode

edit

The promo stated two more shows until the live show, so I think we should cut the charts down another section because it would a twelve competition to get to the finale. 98.17.117.111 (talk) 15:38, 26 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fine with me, we can always change it back later if necessary. Plastikspork (talk) 21:03, 26 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Idea

edit

You remember when we recorded the number of pounds lost and the percentage lost so far in the weigh-in table. We should do that this season, so we will know who the current frontrunner is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.21.195.158 (talk) 16:55, 29 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

We could use the final two columns in the table, which will be overwritten once the finale airs. I put in the numbers in the table (commented out) if someone wants to uncomment them (or agrees). Plastikspork (talk) 20:30, 3 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Week 11 Error

edit

Ed's weight loss in week 11 was 3 lbs, for a percentage weight loss of 1.2%. On the show, they had the incorrect percentage of 1.19%. Should this page repeat that error (as it does now) or list the correct percentage? Noswald (talk) 20:09, 3 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

How so? 3/253 = 0.0119 ? Plastikspork (talk) 20:32, 3 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
My mistake. I thought his starting weight was 250, but that was his ending weight. Noswald (talk) 21:32, 3 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
