Weight Gain
editI am glad there was almost no weight gain this season. When someone gains wait on the ranch it kind of defeats the purpose of the show. Your supposed to lose weight on this show not gain weight! The weight gain for last season was: +1 +1 +1 +1 +2 +2 +3 +3 +5. But the wait gain for this season was just +1. I've watched this show since the 1st season and in season 4 there was a contestant who pulled a +17 and then pulled a -33. I hated that guy! I hate it when contestants game play to keep thereselves on the ranch. There's always a game player every single season and I F****** hate it! Excuse my language. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.102.155.98 (talk) 13:27, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
Weeks
editWhy are only a short amount of weeks listed? For sure there will more than five Tuesday nights worth of show!24.88.86.28 (talk) 01:37, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
- Past shows have consisted of approximately 15 episodes, so my guess is that they will edit a week's worth of material into two episodes, but past wikipedia articles on each season have not been very clear on this point. It might be helpful to many readers to include details about episodes while maintaining the organziational structure of weeks. I think dates would also be very helpful. We only have airdates, and not the actual dates the contestants weigh in. That makes the show a little confusing to watch, I think. -162.6.97.3 (talk) 19:33, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
confusing table
editI'm a little confused by this table. The column that has me confused is Week 1. Some of the squares have color, but most do not. The key at the bottom indicates that gree is a normal BMI and orange is obese, but I don't think these contestants made that much progress in one week, so I must be reading it wrong. -ErinHowarth (talk) 19:37, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
- I'll try to rescue the missing legend. Thanks. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 20:34, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
- I believe the legend, pasted below, is what was missing. Thanks. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 20:38, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
- Standings
- Week's Biggest Loser
- Week's Biggest Loser & Immunity
- Immunity (Challenge or Weigh-In)
- BMI
- Normal (18.5 - 24.9 BMI)
- Overweight (25 - 29.9 BMI)
- Obese Class I (30 - 34.9 BMI)
- Obese Class II (35 - 39.9 BMI)
- Obese Class III (greater than 40 BMI)
- Weigh-In Notes and Weight Gains
X - Tracy was still in the hospital and was not weighed in in Week 1. Mo represented their team alone.
Shouldn't everyone have immunity in week 2 since they met the immunity weight loss goal?--JereMerr 00:33, 24 September 2009 (UTC)--JereMerr 00:33, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
Weight Percentages
editSome of the weight of the percentages seem incorrect. Some people's, like Shay's, looks right. However, it looks like some week 2 percentages were calculated using the 1st weigh-in numbers, rather than the numbers from the beginning of week 2. 173.88.94.212 (talk) 01:30, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
Can we please put up a leader board? I liked what you guys did in season 7! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.81.34.179 (talk) 21:15, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
- We could probably arrange a leader board for the talk page, but it can't go in the article. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 02:26, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
That's Fine. I liked it because it shows who is actually winning this game in weight loss. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.81.34.179 (talk) 21:18, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
How does WP:OR figure in? Cite the NBC TBL website as a source. I seem to remember that on each player's bio, it includes a to-date weight-loss number. --Carl (talk|contribs) 12:48, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
- You are correct that if it's on NBC's website, then it's not WP:OR. In past seasons it wasn't included. Thanks! Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 17:14, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
- I assume this is why someone removed my edits to the percentages (for WP:OR) but it's not OR, I just didn't cite it mainly because I didn't know where to cite IN the table. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mantonino (talk • contribs) 01:48, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
Episode descriptions are too wordy
editThey should be a little more concise. And descriptions like, "it looks like there were more trips left to go" are vague. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.246.58.210 (talk) 12:57, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
Bad wording/ Useless Information
editI don't know about others, but I feel that the wording could be improved in some areas. Specifically, the episode 4 description. Someone wrote "There's a suggestion that Tracey may win that chance and everyone will be screwed." as the last sentence. Is there a way to write "everyone will be screwed" without it sounding like a pre-teen wrote it? Also, someone wrote " The cut to commercial says, "see how the eliminated player looks today" – did they make a mistake and give away the ending?", which seems more like a question that should be posted here or in a discussion forum, not on an information page. I would fix these things myself, but I am a bit unsure of how to edit in Wikipedia. Thanks! OCTOBER 7, 2009. 5:01 PM —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.55.229.7 (talk) 21:01, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- On the same note, episode 4 is way too long. A word-for-word narration is not necessary. Only the highlights should be mentioned (i.e. instead of describing the entire weigh-in, just say who fell below the yellow line). The entry should not be longer than three or four paragraphs at most. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.73.132.225 (talk) 02:20, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
- In the past we have had some pretty skillful copyeditors help sort out these issues. I will see if I can find some time, but anyone should feel free to help make these summaries a bit more concise and use less POV statements. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 02:25, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

Team Colors
editSince colors are displayed in the contestants table, could the colors in the three weigh-ins chart and the elimination chart be changed back to their original colors.24.88.86.28 (talk) 01:20, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Finale on December 8th?
editOn facebook, contestant amanda may have confirmed when the finale will be. She says on one of her posts, dated november 1 at 3:47 local time that is will be on december 8. can we use this as a reliable source and adjust the days? Daniel/Rebecca an item???
editThe article claims that Daniel's new girlfriend is Rebecca. However, there's no source for this. Where has this thought been expressed? Savvy10 (talk) 02:14, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
it says that on rebecca and daniels facebook. --JereMerr 03:28, 18 November 2009 (UTC)--JereMerr 03:28, 18 November 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeremerr (talk • contribs)

Week 10
editIn week 10, it states that in the update, she did not mention weight lost. That is incorrect, as she said that she lost 107 lbs in the biggest loser update. I am correcting this, as here is the source: http://www.nbc.com/the-biggest-loser/video/clips/week-10-rebecca/1176728/ --JereMerr 22:01, 18 November 2009 (UTC)--JereMerr 22:01, 18 November 2009 (UTC)--JereMerr 22:01, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Possible vandelism
editi have reverted some edits someone made on tracy's weight. the table stated that her starting weight was 250, and that she lost 12 lbs in week 2. i have changed this, and am requesting that the person who edited it be warned.--JereMerr 05:19, 9 December 2009 (UTC)--JereMerr 05:19, 9 December 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeremerr (talk • contribs)
