Order of contestants, home state
editUtsumi, why did you pick that order for the contestants? It doesn't seem to be ordered alphabetically, by age, by weight or by home state. Speaking of home state, should we list the home state next to each contestant? Banaticus 06:36, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
- I think I put the contestants in the order of their week one weigh-in. I'll place them alphabetically. Also, I think that putting in their home state is a wonderful idea. I think we should since it was an important plot point. Oh! While we are on the subject of table, what do you think about putting in percentages of the groups total weight loss at the bottom? Utsumi 19:57, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
- Sure, if you want to calculate the percentages. ;) I saw a note on the $250k and $100k prizes somewhere on the offical NBC site (I think), but can't find that information now. There was some animated note running across the bottom of the official site about a $500 prize for something or other -- I don't know if that's going to be a regular occurance -- should it be mentoined in this article? Banaticus 21:07, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
- Wow, some people actually manually calculated the percentages for, well, everyone. That's pretty impressive. Banaticus 09:22, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Home States of Contestants
editUh, I think that the home states of the contestants are a little bit screwed up. I'm not sure if the states are matched up with the correct contestant. Chaz 00:04, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- Those are the home states that NBC reports for the contests on its show. Which states do you believe are incorrect? Banaticus 02:22, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
What happens to Jennifer now?
editDoes Jennifer now become one of the "at home" contestants? Should we keep the grey background for her weight but still report her weight from each week as well as the weight of other contestants who are sent home after the body of 36 were sent home? — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Banaticus, who deeply regrets his momentary forgetfulness.
- On the Biggest Loser website Jennifer is not listed as being one of the "at home" contestants. This leads me to believe that she is completely out of the game. As such, we should not include her in the 36 "at home" contest. Utsumi 21:47, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
The 36 at home contestants and their weekly weight
editI just don't have the necessary time to enter all the weekly weights for the 36 at home. I could perhaps do it sometime near the end of next week. Banaticus 07:17, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed, it's time consuming and tedious. Interestingly, ten of the home contestants are doing at least as well as the worst of the ranch bunch.

Duration of competition
editHow long did this series run for, what I mean is, from the initial weigh in to the finale, how many real-life weeks was it? There is a large gap between the final weights on the last week of the show compared to the finale, suggesting a month or two in between. Also, does anyone know if this length is consistent with past series. Mike2680 (talk) 12:46, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
Audition Video
editApparently, the videos that NBC has on its website are edited -- I found a whole audition video for Heather Hansen on YouTube. Holy cow, it's the funniest video, she really lets it all hang out. At least the first half -- the second half is just still pictures. Anyway, assuming that we can find more whole videos, should they be put in their own section or in the External Links section? Banaticus 07:30, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
Remove the "Loss" column
editI propose we remove the "loss" column. I think this was meant to have the total loss in pounds, but this information is redudant (can be calculated from the other data). Plus it's a pain to update. I'll remove it Thursday (October 19th or so) unless anybody wants to keep it. Wickle 15:21, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Contestants table layout screwed up
editI don't know how to fix it, but the markup for the contestants table appears to be missing some row or cells tags, that's why it's showing all those weird empty and non-aligned areas on the far right side.
BMI
editIf anyone would like to gather BMI information for the Weigh-in table, then that would be appreciated.
- Do you have a source for the height? BMI is easy once you know the heights. Oh, and sign your posts with ~~~~, thanks! Plastikspork (talk) 23:48, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
- Found a source, http://www.biggestloserclub.com/ms/blcfeatures/blcseason3map.html, and BMIs added with help from QuizzicalBee. Plastikspork (talk) 19:18, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Inconsistent tense
editI posted this question on season 7 too but since affects multiple seasons wanted to get a consensus before doing anything. Some paragraphs are present tense, some are past. My opinion is should all be past tense, and think it would read more encyclopedic anyway but this would several edits not only to this season page but other season synopsis'. Is there a general policy or consensus on this? MoviePhan (talk) 18:33, 15 October 2022 (UTC)
