The result of the move request was: Moved to Daily Voice (American hyperlocal news). This proposal had two parts: (1) to remove "The" from the title and (2) to change how the title is disambiguated. I see a consensus for the first part, but no consensus for the second due to three different options being suggested yet none getting broad support. As a result, the most reasonable way forward is to remove the "The" but to leave the disambiguation in place for now per WP:NOGOODOPTIONS. The Daily Voice (American hyperlocal news) → Daily Voice (United States) – My understanding is that the website is called "Daily Voice". Advertorial materials involving them seem to be dropping the "The" from the company's name, and the company's social media presence seems to not use the "The". Moreover, there doesn't appear to be any other U.S. publication that presently uses the name "Daily Voice", so I think we can change "American hyperlocal news" to "United States" in line with the criterion of conciseness. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 01:15, 29 September 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. - Move to Daily Voice (hyperlocal news) as an alternative concise title that'll never be ambiguous re The Daily Voice (African American news website) (currently a redirect). Hameltion (talk | contribs) 04:32, 2 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
- The Daily Voice (African American news website) redirects to an article that does not contain the phrase "Daily Voice", so I don't think that topic matters for disambiguation purposes (currently). Also, this topic's site doesn't currently characterize itself as "hyperlocal news" – its main page says "We bridge the 'news desert' between national and hyper-local, covering town, city, county, and state." — BarrelProof (talk) 17:26, 7 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
- Move to Daily Voice (American website). The other American one doesn't have an article and can be handled with a hatnote. We don't generally use the country alone as a disambiguator. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:59, 3 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
- For things like The Guardian (Nigeria), we use the country as disambiguator. It's fairly natural here, imo. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 03:55, 7 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
