Genre
editThis story is characteristic of a genre of pulp fiction serial dramas popular at the time Dostoevsky wrote the novella. Most well known is of course, the later Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Can anyone comment further on this genre which clearly influenced Dostoevsky in portraying his psychological musings? --Kenneth M Burke 03:03, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Critical Reception Section
editI think that the Critical Reception section should contain less information about the meaning and interpretations of the novel and more about what critics thought of it. Only the last two paragraphs even mention critics' responses to the book.
