There is also a new amphibious element being deployed with the construction of the "mistral" and "tonerre" vessels. More information needed.


The article is very one-sided and overly optimistic. There is no menion of the substantial financial difficulties that have led to large cutbacks in the number of planned new ships, such as the reduction of the Aquitaine-class from a planned 17 ships to a mere 8, or the the cancellation of the 3rd and 4th Horizon class air defense destroyers, or the cancellation/postponement of the new carrier in the 2013 white paper. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.127.125.162 (talk) 13:29, 30 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
