Malware link

Hey Cunard, is there some way we could get that malware link the IP added banned or blacklisted or something? I don't really know the process for something like that. But it came up with the same warning for me too. Tactical Fiend (talk) 19:07, 6 July 2018 (UTC)

Suggested section in article

Hello! My name is Tam and I'm here on Wikipedia on behalf of my employer, Global Work & Travel, to propose some article improvements for editors to consider. First, I'd like to propose adding a section above "Criticism and controversy" called "Animal welfare and charity" with the suggested text to appear below:

Global Work & Travel founded the Global Animal Welfare Fund (GAWF) in 2019 as its Australian-registered charitable arm. GAWF’s mission is to raise funds for animal welfare projects in Australia. It assists animal shelters and rescue organisations by providing funding for vital equipment, infrastructure and professional care. All funding is provided by Global Work & Travel and donations by its customers and staff.

In 2014, Global Work & Travel co-founded RescuePAWS Thailand which is a not-for-profit local street dog rescue, rehabilitation & rehoming organisation in Hua Hin, Thailand, that improves the quality of life for many stray and sick street dogs through sterilisation, education, local and overseas adoption, and also operates a program for international volunteers. It also set up RescuePAWS Canada which serves as the adoption agency for the dogs.

In March 2022, RescuePAWS was involved in the repatriation of 21 dogs to Vancouver in Canada. It was reported that the dogs were saved from dangerous situations across China, including the dog meat trade and puppy mills.

I will be proposing some additional content to bring this entire article up to date, but before doing so, I want to make sure this standalone section seems reasonable to editors. The purpose of this request is to demonstrate the company's commitment to sustainable & ethical travel, with animal welfare in particular being at the core of the company's values.

 Not done for now: Hi. Unfortunately I didn't go through with those today. The main reason being the inclusion of an animal welfare section would be unwarranted due to the poor quality of the sources provided and its general relevance with regards to the main topic of the article. People is a reliable source, but the secondary argument (relevance) still stands. I'd be happy to work with you to improve the article overall. PK650 (talk) 06:19, 19 July 2022 (UTC)

Hi @PK650, thanks so much for reviewing and replying to my edit request. Would it be more relevant for the section to be named "Philanthropy"? Given Rescue P.A.W.S and Global Animal Welfare Fund are both part of the Global Work & Travel family of brands, I believe it is important to add a section within this article that discusses these brands. Amendments to "History" section

@PK650: Thanks again for assisting with improving this article. For this request, I'd like to propose amending the second paragraph in the "History" section with more up-to-date information and sources. I propose the following text:

The company operates primarily in six countries - Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and the United States - and it provides Working Holiday packages along with Volunteer, Au Pair, Teaching English, Internship, Tutoring, Remote Work and Study trips.

It has developed more than 60 culturally educating travel experiences to more than 30 countries and also helps travellers with travel insurance, flights, tours and work visas. Global Work & Travel is now a fully e-commerce platform and it offers its travellers a 24/7 support system.

Its working holiday program is its most popular and it matches travellers from around the world with businesses, mostly in hospitality and tourism. They ensure that international jobseekers have all relevant visas, police checks, professional CVs and references before setting up the interview between the two parties.
