editDon't know very much about the company – I don't think they're still around, they definitely don't have a homepage (or at least it's not high enough on Google's ranks), and although Google returns a lot of results, there's no detailed information. I have a few SoftKey-branded CD-ROMs, and the entire article's based on the case for a single CD-ROM disc, Design It! 3-D. multima 14:27, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

Should 'Promotion' section be renamed to 'Marketing'?
editI'm new so I do not know if there is Wikipedia precedent for how to name sections in articles such as this, so I am not changing the section title myself. However, I feel like 'Marketing' better describes the contents of the section currently called 'Promotion'.
I greatly appreciate your input and expertise! --Hawk Of The River Styx (talk) 21:51, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
- I agree, so I've gone ahead and done that along with some other changes. I couldn't find any guidelines for section titles on WikiProject Companies, so it should be fine. Thanks for the suggestion! Though in the future, feel free to be bold and make the edit if you think it would be an improvement to the article. The worst that can happen is that someone changes it back. — The Only Zac (talk) 03:51, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
Requested move 4 January 2022
edit- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: moved. Procedural close as revert of an undiscussed move. (closed by non-admin page mover) Lennart97 (talk) 10:31, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
The Learning Company (formerly SoftKey) → SoftKey – "(formerly SoftKey)" is clunky. SoftKey more clearly disambiguates, and coverage of the company under the name "The Learning Company" is dwarfed by that under SoftKey. SoftKey International is an acceptable alternative. DigitalIceAge (talk) 02:12, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
- Procedural close Since it was a unilateral undiscussed move, I have listed it on WP:RM to be reverted. There really should have been a discussion on whether to move it in the first place.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 08:27, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
