editThe tone of this article is chatty and the layout is disorganised. It could do with a good edit to pull it into shape.--DavidCane (talk) 23:08, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

I am trying to improve the history section of this article by reference to the published history of the fletton industry and the Monopolies Commission reports. There has obvioiusly been some confusion with Malcom Stewart of Forders being credited with leading LBC and I have taken that out. I have added new material post 1900 but I am concerned about the opening of the history. I am not sure that it is factually correct. Hill actually bought into the industry in 1889 and it looks as if he began calling his business London Brick some time before it was incorporated. I cannot see that he started by bringing Peterborough and Fletton together as stated. Does anybody object to me rewriting that part? Bebington (talk) 12:54, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
