Talk:The Murder at the Vicarage/Archive 1

Same plot

I've just read Harley Quin story "The Love Detectives" from the short short story collection "Three Blind Mice and Other Stories". The matter is that "The L. D." has similarities to "The M. at the V." - two lovers, each one taking guilt of the murder of woman's husband on himself\herself separately from each other, because of thinking that the other one did it, but really it's part of their plan of taking the suspicion off themselves after committing murder. Should it be mentioned in the article, i. e. category "References to other works" be added? Gevorg89 (talk) 11:36, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

IF you can find a Reliable source stating that, be bold and do it yourself.  --intelatitalk 17:47, 12 November 2010 (UTC)

In comparison to entries on other Christie novels, this one is not very informative. The plot summary is NOT a plot summary, and the article does not even include a cast of Characters.Jim Lacey (talk) 16:11, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

More information would be helpful

Jim Lacey I put in a new plot summary and added a character list, and put one of the more interesting reviewer quotes in the lead. My plot summaries are never the best but I do get to the end of the book. This story had so many subplots, and some are fun, but to keep the summary short enough I had to drop them. None of the reviewers noticed all the humor in this book, so it gets no play in this article. Maybe this is a noticeable improvement? --Prairieplant (talk) 21:50, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
