The article should state whether "The Northern Echo" is a daily or an evening paper.

This paper is available Monday to Saturday. This is not an evening paper. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.213.139.42 (talkcontribs) 09:19, 16 March 2008

The Northern Echo (Darlington)The Northern Echo – 1. Page was moved here from "The Northern Echo" without any consensus for the move. 2. As there is only one newspaper called "The Northern Echo" no further disambiguation is needed, any suggestion of where exactly the paper serves should be kept to the article Pit-yacker (talk) 20:44, 15 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Support - The mover seemed to have moved the article just to clarify were the newspaper served, not knowing what the disambiguation was actually for. No other uses, move back. -- [[ axg //  ]] 21:38, 16 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps you could supply some examples? Every single hit I got on Google referred to "The Northern Echo" that is the subject of this article. Pit-yacker (talk) 17:49, 17 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sources for history section

Hi

I'm really not sure how to do this, so I'll just ask, and apologize in advance if this isn't the right form for questions, but I thought it better than writing to everyone who ever edited this article individually!

I'm writing a university essay on the Northern Echo, more or less, and wanted to know where the 2. paragraph in the section "history" is sourced from, as no references are given and I can't find any comprehensive, trustworthy literature on the paper through the portals accessible to me!

Sorry, and thanks, if this isn't the place; I'm completely new to Wikipedia, and just wanted to see if someone could help.

Sincere regards,

The.history.student (talk) 12:54, 29 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Ah thanks, I'm used to more in-text referencing!

@The.history.student: 2nd para of 'history' section appears to be based on the current ref 4, http://www.attackingthedevil.co.uk/echo/index.php . Qwfp (talk) 22:11, 29 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
