Wrong Number of Total Episodes
editUnfortunately I can't change it myself, but the number of episodes in the first paragraph is said to be "25", which is wrong (at least according to the main article, The Office (U.S.)) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.226.244.106 (talk) 21:51, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
Production
editIf there's nothing in the production section of this article except a warning, shouldn't the section be removed? Eugeniu B (talk) 04:15, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
- Eh, it really doesn't matter. It'll be expanded once the season is over anyway, so there's really no use in deleting it now only to stick it back in later. Mastrchf (t/c) 04:24, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
Wrong Episode Numbers!
edit"1-2 "Weight Loss"
That is one episode, which means episode 3, "Business Ethics" is actually episode 2, and so on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Starlinhm (talk • contribs) 21:31, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
- Correct. Someone came in and attempted to change it to correspond with the statement of an actor, and although the changes were incorrect, they haven't been reverted yet. Mastrchf (t/c) 22:17, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
- Totally agree, I don't like it either. But I read somewhere that the show producers wanted to make the season finale as the 100th episode of the series. And if you do not count "Weight Loss", "Fun Run" and other 1 hour episodes as two episodes, you'll be way behind that count. So that's the problem. Hgporto talk 23:36, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
- I've fixed it. The only thing is that we'll have to go through the individual episode pages and renumber them. Mastrchf (t/c) 12:02, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

Weight Loss part 1 was episode 1. Weight Loss part 2 was episode 2.Robinrobin (talk) 16:06, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
ERROR: episode number of "New Boss"
editEpisode number of "New Boss" should be changed to "17". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dlinbh85 (talk • contribs) 04:08, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- I must've made a typo when I was fixing the numbers. Thanks for the heads up. Mastrchf (t/c) 12:01, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Wrong episode Number
editon the main episode list season 4 ends on episode 65 but season 5 starts on 67. all of the numbers on season 5 should be subtracted by one —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yankeesfan-27 (talk • contribs) 17:39, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Inaccuracies
editEpisode list is wrong and so is the number of episodes. Refer to:

Reason for Toby's episodes off?
editSomething that seems to be the case but I can't see written about anyway: was Toby's absence for the first part of this season incorporated to allow Paul Lieberstein to settle in to his new role as showrunner without having to act in front of the camera too? U-Mos (talk) 19:08, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
- That would've made sense. Someone should just ask him, tho—he seems like an accessible kind of guy. Try introducing yourself by saying "Hi, I'm [first name], and I edit Wikipedia…" Everyone must know that anyone can do that, but it's amazing the attention it can get you. 😉 – AndyFielding (talk) 01:05, 29 January 2024 (UTC)

WP reference
editIn "Crime Aid", episode 5 of season 5 of The Office, Michael, addressing the office staff and the attendees of their robbery-recovery auction (see synopsis), says:
It is not known how many office robberies occur every second, because there is no Wikipedia entry for Office Robbery Statistics.
I came here with high hopes that someone—maybe even Jimmy himself—might have, out of their immense good humour, created an Office Robbery Statistics page (perhaps even a locked one with a single reference to the Dunder-Mifflin "robbery"). But no.
It seemed permissible, then to at least have this Talk-page mention of it. If there are other WP references in The Office—and I'm getting deja vu here, so I suspect there are—feel free to add Talk entries to those seasons' articles, too. I mean, what else are we doing? How many of you are over 30 and living in your parents' basement suites? Hands, let's see 'em! – AndyFielding (talk) 09:20, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
