I feel the article doesn't provide enough context to convey why this essay was so groundbreaking. Perhaps this should be merged into a broader article? nadav 00:45, 1 May 2007 (UTC) Specifically, what was so revolutionary about the thesis of the Lim piece that provoked such a controversy and a reaction from the PM? Here in the US, commentaries attacking the government are published all the time without anybody noticing. I assume the uniqueness of Lim's commentary vis a vis Singapore has something to do with the OB markers or censorship, but I wish the article would provide more background to clarifiy the issue. nadav 14:33, 1 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
