The People (disambiguation) → The People – There doesn't seem to be a primary topic for this phrase. The current target of The People is The Sunday People; compared to all the other potential targets listed on The People (disambiguation), the current setup seems to be unhelpful/unlikely. - Support The Sunday People has 668 views but the Common song has 403, the film has 317, the 1891 one has 125 and the EP has 28, 4 the People has 2,581, By the People (2005 film) has 832 and Of the People has 464[[1]]. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:33, 30 August 2024 (UTC)
- Support. the song by Common and the film are both more likely targets for "The People" than is The Sunday People. Station1 (talk) 21:09, 30 August 2024 (UTC)
- If we look at all-time monthly views of the redirect and the hatnote destination, it looks like once upon a time the case for a primary redirect might have been clearer, but these days it looks like around a third of the readers looking up this term might be reaching for the navigational aid. This is typically rather suspect, so we should disambiguate it. If nothing else, the change will make it much easier to check if an overwhelming amount of readers actually look for the present-day primary topic, or if it's more ambiguous.
