Ratings
editIf ratings are going to be reflected here, you should carry over the sources removed from the main article here when this article was created. The current table is incompletely sourced, and the Variety article titled "TV originals drive small ratings gain" is attributed to more ratings weeks that are actually mentioned in the article. Sloppy.— TAnthonyTalk 17:43, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- Feel free to improve. It was JUST made, so it wont be perfect. ChaosMaster16 (talk) 18:55, 17 January 2009 (UTC)ChaosMaster16
- I'm also wondering why this "article" exists at all, because this info is can be easily folded into List of The Secret Life of the American Teenager episodes and is somewhat redundant. Looking at Lost (season 4) as an example of what this type of article should look like, sourced info about the show's cast and reception already exists in the main article; it is too small to be split out, and copying it into another article is also redundant. I think you jumped the gun on this one. — TAnthonyTalk 20:19, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- It was created so the three pages relating to The Secret Life are easier to understand and uncrowded. And I think I and a few other people can make this article about season one and have the main series page just about the series, like Smallville and Lost. - That will be great when the series has more than like 14 episodes! For now, you're creating a handful of small, disjointed and redundant articles for no reason. What is unique about this page that makes it worthy on its own merits? But by all means, if you think you know Wikipedia better than I do, feel free do do it your way ... but I will tell you that I have seen many articles like this get nominated and deleted pretty quickly after they are noticed. Good luck. — TAnthonyTalk 00:10, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Season 2
editSecret Wedding was the season 2 premier. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.190.8.55 (talk) 22:56, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
- According to the official website of the Secret Life and many other sites, there is only one season. However, if the site is updated, I will go ahead and create a season 2 page.ChaosMaster16 (talk) 23:03, 20 January 2009 (UTC)ChaosMaster16
- But on the site and on tv it says it's the season premier —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.190.8.55 (talk) 23:06, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Move the episode list
editI think we should move the episode list with it's current formatting and replace the one on List of The Secret Life of the American Teenager episodes with it.... What do you think about it...? NowotnyPL (talk) 13:48, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
- I honestly did think about it before I moved it. If the show is cancelled after season 1 then, yes, by all means, merge the two and delete this page. However, if there are many seasons (it looks like it is a great possiblity) then why note have different season pages, with information on each? It will be uncluttered and short, easy pages, with ratings and everything. The season page is just an overview of episodes, not meant for episode summaries (see Smallville's episodes and seasons). In Whoomp! There it is, hospital was incorrectly spelled (spelled as hospitle).
- Already done Article has been corrected (by someone else, but still), thank you. 71.41.210.146 (talk) 03:33, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Main Cast
editI removed Renee Olstead (Madison Cooperstein) and Camille Winbush (Lauren Treacy) from the main cast, because they are officially cited as guest stars in the episodes they have a large role in. However, feel free to revert if there is a compelling reason :]. -Liquidluck (talk)
Colour contrast problems
editIt seems that this article is using colours in the infobox which don't satisfy Wikipedia's accessibility guidelines. The contrast between the foreground colour and the background colour is low, which means that it may be difficult or impossible for people with visual impairments to read it.
To correct this problem, a group of editors have decided to remove support for invalid colours from Template:Infobox television season and other television season templates after 1 September 2015. If you would still like to use custom colours for the infobox and episode list in this article after that date, please ensure that the colours meet the WCAG AAA standard.
To test whether a colour combination is AAA-compliant you can use Snook's colour contrast tool. If your background colour is dark, then please test it against a foreground colour of "FFFFFF" (white). If it is light, please test it against a foreground colour of "000000" (black). The tool needs to say "YES" in the box for "WCAG 2 AAA Compliant" when you input the foreground and the background colour. You can generally make your colour compliant by adjusting the "Value (%)" fader in the middle box.
Please be sure to change the invalid colour in every place that it appears, including the infobox, the episode list, and the series overview table. If you have any questions about this, please ask on Template talk:Infobox television season. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 05:30, 2 August 2015 (UTC)
