Talk:The Ship (video game)
Release
editI'm sure the release date is going to be around september, rather than Spetember. Betatesting hasn't even begun yet. Isn't that too little time to test it and get it shipped for release in shops? the FAQ says September, and 2007 for retail. --RabidZombie 16:54, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
Misread it. Retail in Europe in September, and in 2007 for USA.
- The site now says it's September 15th, so I updated it --Donbert 18:33, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
- http://www.theshiponline.com/faq.php#faq7 - It still claims a May release on Steam, with retail following in September and January. - Hahnchen 17:10, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Oh yeah! Uh huh! I was right! New release of 21st June! Check so on the new trailer.E3 Trailer! You were right about the original release date though... RabidZombie 20:00, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
The Steam release date seems to now be July 11. WorldFamous 21:38, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
Game Box Pic
editWhy is the game box pic apparantly in French? Shouldn't an English language one be more appropriate for the English wikipedia? The Kinslayer 22:17, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- The game was first released at retail in France, because Mindscape are based there. Thus it was the first box art to be uploaded online. I don't mind which version of the box art is used. - Hahnchen 00:33, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:TheShip.jpg
editImage:TheShip.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Sequel section
edit"Outerlight was said to be working on a sequel. However, with two years since the announcement and no further information, it is believe the sequel has been scrapped, and the company no longer exists."
I added a "citation needed" tag to the end of this, if anyone knows any more info about this and can clarify it a bit, that would be awesome, as I don't know too much about the status of the sequel or company. -98.207.189.113 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 09:11, 25 July 2010 (UTC).
- If I'm right, there is going to be a sequel, however, it will not be directly related. Ubisoft (who I think now owns Outerlight) has announced Bloody Good Time, which will be released for XBLA (and PC too? someone correct me here). But even if the game isn't actually in production, this section is incorrect, as Outerlight still exists. --68.105.88.164 (talk) 20:37, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

The Ship (video game) → The Ship: Murder Party – We do not need to disambiguate when we have a WP:NATURALDAB of the game's full title. Anarchyte (work | talk) 11:03, 3 January 2018 (UTC)--Relisting. samee talk 08:15, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Station1 (talk) 07:34, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose @Station1: actually that is a retitle, the game originally wasn't called that, and isn't called that in early sources. Hence this particular case fails WP:NATURALDAB. In ictu oculi (talk) 12:17, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
- Why does that make any difference? The current title will still be a redirect and it will still be on the dab page for anyone searching for The Ship. Station1 (talk) 20:30, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
