Name of the café
editIs it really appropriate to translate the café's name? It's a business. Shouldn't we keep its French name? Funnyhat (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Why do you think it is from the Moulin Rouge and the Moulin de la Galette? There are THREE windmills in the area, including two associated with the Moulin de la Galette (the Blute-fin and the Radet). The café is closer to the two on top of the hill than the Moulin Rouge, so there is really no basis for believing that it has anything to do with that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.64.111.184 (talk) 22:49, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
- Neither the Moulin Rouge nor the Moulin de la Galette were real windmills. The windmill of the Moulin Rouge was built as a 19th century billboard, and the Moulin de la Galette was a cabaret as well. The café is probably named after the two actual windmills, the Moulin de Blute-fin, and the Moulin Radet. I don't have a source at the moment, but will look into it.
