Thomas Broughton (acting governor)Thomas Broughton (South Carolina politician) – or Thomas Broughton (colonial official) or Thomas Broughton (colonial politician). The current disambiguator seems overly role-specific and is the only use of "(acting governor)" on Wikipedia. He was English, but his notability was as a colonial government official in South Carolina. — BarrelProof (talk) 04:33, 20 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Support Either South Carolina politician or colonial official would be fine. Thanks for doing this RM, acting governor definitely doesn’t sound right. Kind regards, Robertus Pius (TalkContribs) 19:13, 20 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
