Thomas Oliphant (musician and artist)Thomas Oliphant (musician) – Per WP:DAB, disambiguators should be concise and non-unique. This is the only article that describes a (musician and artist). It's clear from the article that the subject is notable primarily as a musician; by the time he did some sketches, he had already been a successful musician for decades. I would not oppose Thomas Oliphant (artist) since musicians are artists of a sort, but this is definitely a second choice. IIO, I can save you some time—there are no book results for "musician thomas oliphant" or "artist thomas oliphant." Google results are, curiously, 9 and 18 respectively, despite the fact that most of the results for the latter search come from music sites, such as Discogs, AllMusic, and iTunes. • Support. No need to include his whole bio in the article title, we just need enough to disambiguate, and musician works fine. And yes, far more notable as a musician than as an artist. Andrewa (talk) 12:15, 24 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
