"Those interested in TWA may like to know that his manuscript journal for 1839 has just come to light. This is of considerable interest not only for the religious and doctrinal content, but for its revelation of the author's social milieu and social life, together with his intense and somewhat fraught courtship of "EHN" (Eliza Hall Newman) whom he married in 1840."
