Missing Editor? E. Francis Brown

A New York Times piece lists one of its long-time employees, E. Francis Brown, as having served as a senior editor of Time Magazine four 4 years, beginning in 1945.

I see no mention of him on this page, and I do not have any further corroboration other than the NYT write-up, linked below.
