Talk:Timeline of the Syrian civil war (September–December 2011)

POV tag

edit

Whole article is completely rebel/opposition centred with taking their clams, even completley uncheckable as the truth. For example I found a sentence saying that 80 000 people were protesting in Maidan which is wrong. The big pro Assad rally was not even mentionned. The editors of this article are making it very biased.--ChronicalUsual (talk) 19:25, 17 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I noticed a few oddities myself, such as the casualty box is not updated, and decisions made by the arab league and UN are not included either. Tomorrow morning or so i will scan through the article and see anything present which goes against the reliable source rules, as well ass add on things missed. Changes to numbers and date formatting

edit

It appears User:SlashinatorX has his own unique vision for how the rules of grammar should be (according to his User page). I felt it would be best to open this up for comment on the Talk page; as I've noted, WP:ORDINAL, WP:STRONGNAT, and WP:DATERET are my real problems with this user's editing, as well as his insistence on reverting back to his preferred style when other users change it to comply with Wikipedia's manual of style. -Kudzu1 (talk) 19:32, 8 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

It appears that Kudzu1 is trying to repress my progressive views with his narrow minded ideology by putting the day in front of the month instead of the month then the day which is the correct format. I wouldnt be surprised if he supported Assad in this revolution since he is a narrow minded conformist that opposes change. Please dont listen to him & his intolerant rants. He is just afraid of progress.

Please review WP:STRONGNAT. Syria was in the UK's sphere, not the United States'; you should read this section explaining the Commonwealth's treatment of date ordering before you claim one format is "correct" and another is not. As for your insult about me supporting Assad, I think that's laughable, but I appreciate your confidence in my neutral editing. -Kudzu1 (talk) 03:13, 11 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
And I just noticed that you inserted a sentence in my original statement that I did not write and changed a word to try to corrupt my point. Very clever. I don't recommend doing that again unless you want an administrator to get involved. -Kudzu1 (talk) 04:05, 11 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Look, SlashinatorX, you're welcome to contribute and add to this article or any other. Wikipedia is all about collaboration. But stop changing numbers and dates - which violates Wikipedia guidelines - and add sources for the material you're adding, or I'm going to continue to revert you (and other editors will, too). And I'd review the policy for Wikiquette before you make any more edits, too. -Kudzu1 (talk) 17:40, 13 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
