Would it not be correct to head the article as Thomas Brown, with mention in introduction he was also known as Tom? He is certainly listed as such by the Dictionary of National Biography. In those days it would have been unlikely he would have been christened as Tom.Cloptonson (talk) 21:29, 27 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
