As the Roman Emperor Caracalla was the very last person on earth that saw Alexander’s tomb and body and as he believed himself to be Alexander’s reincarnation would it me safe to think that Caracalla took Alexander’s body back to Rome and laid it to rest in his own imperial mausoleum known today as Castel Sant'Angelo?
