Dracula (Character) Article?

edit

Should there be a seperate page made for Dracula himself, something like Dracula (Marvel Comics)? As it is now, "Dracula (Marvel Comics)" re-directs to this article. Dr Archeville 20:33, 14 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Definitely. Tomb is the book. Dracula is the guy. It's not like the other comic guys have different wikis for the character and the book. Especially with the recent Apocalypse vs. Dracula stuff, too! --Kozmik Pariah 12:14, 17 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Aye, it's not like there's not enough info on Marvel's take on the character [1], [2]. --Dr Archeville 15:01, 3 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

It is finished! I have split off Dracula (Marvel Comics) from this article. Please review the changes to make sure everything went smoothly. I added some info for a fictional character biography section for Drac's article. I'm now about to busy myself redirecting links that belong to Drac's article. 204.153.84.10 20:06, 14 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Rachel van Helsing.jpg

edit

Image:Rachel van Helsing.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:04, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Comics B-Class Assesment required

edit

This article needs the B-Class checklist filled in to remain a B-Class article for the Comics WikiProject. If the checklist is not filled in by 7th August this article will be re-assessed as C-Class. The checklist should be filled out referencing the guidance given at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment/B-Class criteria. For further details please contact the Comics WikiProject. SHB Image

edit

As we've done for other articles about periodicals, as opposed to characters, the box image in order to be encyclopedic needs to be that of the actual periodical. This existing image of the lead character, drawn by the series' signature article, can go elsewhere in the article. -- Tenebrae (talk) 14:15, 27 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

JANUS NOT JESUS

edit

I edited the portion describing Dracula's son JANUS, who was given that name because of his dual heritage of human and vampire--eventually the name would also signify his possession by an angel. Wolfman and Colan did allude to Janus being either possessed by Jexus' Spirit through a painting of Him on a wall in which the eyes glowed just as Janus'; but this glow may have been indicative of all the heavely Hosts or the manifestation of such...MARK VENTURE (talk) 16:28, 13 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hey, prople, what ever happened to AURORA DUBINSKY, who was Harold H. Harold's love obsession? She was a significant character in that her dumbness was not only able to stave-off Dracula's impulses to bite her, but twice saved and revived Drac when the others were dumb-founded. I think Aurora may have been an inspiration for Buffy The Vampire Slayer! 75.193.126.41 (talk) 06:18, 15 September 2010 (UTC)VeryverserReply

Infobox image

edit

In WikiProject Comics, the articles about comic book series show an issue of the series, not the character. For example, The Amazing Spider-Man (comic book) shows the cover of The Amazing Spider-Man #1. The current image of Dracula belong more appropriately in an article about Marvel's Dracula. This image needs to be replaced. --Tenebrae (talk) 03:14, 30 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
