editWhen I was 12 years old, I met Tommy Sands (1 year before he married Nancy Sinatra); when he was singing on Cliffie Stone's Hometown Jamboree; at Harmony Park Ballroom (now demolished) in Anaheim, CA, USA. For 8 weeks, Cliffie had me come audition/sing for him; and I had a chance to freely roam the ballroom and stage. Several times during afternoon rehersals, I stood about 3 feet behind Tommy; and realized quickly, that when the PA was off, standing that close, I could not hear him sing. His soft voice helped me in my later years; as with normal loudness, on some songs, my voice now goes off-key. When I sing soft, I sing on-key. Tommy Sands, Molly Bee, Gene O-Quinn, Speedy West and all the cast of the show all made me feel like we were all one big family; and now that I'm producing fairs and shows again (stopped for 20 years), I hope that I can hold a Hometown Jamboree Reunion stage show with Tommy and Molly sometime soon. Fair use rationale for Image:TommySands2.jpg
editImage:TommySands2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Your references to Tommy Sands the well known Pop singer are to my mind accurate. However, you fail to mention Tommy Sands the Irish folksinger and writer who is also a major figure in the world of music.I think to avoid confusion this needs to be addressed. Rewrite needed
editThis page could use a rewrite as well as general editing of the facts.
For example: Where does Tommy live now? There is one statement in the Hawaii section claiming he settled in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In the next section for his personal life, it appears he settled in Hawaii where he met his second wife. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.202.68.66 (talk) 12:46, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- I agree, it needs rewritten and to be more factual such as at the end it says "vain attempt to revive his career." He was a singer and entertainer and continued doing that in Hawaii where he loved living and would travel and sing. In an interview posted on Youtube by Alan Eichler 6 years ago he states how happy and content he has been with his life unlike many in the acting and singing profession. Why does Wiki have to make him sound like a failure. Indyravens (talk) 14:50, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
