It would be good to have some basic facts about when the program was brought in, how many people moved, and where to under this page. Mark Richards 22:21, 30 Apr 2004 (UTC)

- You reverted me. --Wik 22:57, Apr 30, 2004 (UTC)
- Sorry? If I did it was entirely accidental - what what the content that I reverted? If I put back my edits - can you make yours again? Thanks, Mark Richards 02:30, 1 May 2004 (UTC)
Point of View
editOf course this is a controversial topic and it is easy to fail objectivity. I think POV can be acknowledged but should be done carefully. So far it hasn't been - by supporters of BOTH "sides" of the argument. User 58.107.10.239 made what are undeniably UNSOURCED claims. I also saw them as overly point-of-view and with an anti-Indonesian bias. Maybe Indonesia is indeed the "bad guy" here on in his opinion, but that needs to be objectively put forward. Having reverted his mostly inappropriate edits , i will go through his changes and see if there is stuff that should have been left. Rather than an edit was, i am happy to discuss items here - remember often it is not so much what the article says, but HOW it is said. cheers --Merbabu 07:27, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
Colonial era
editThe transportation of labourers to Sumatra was not known at the time as transmigratie, and it's very different from the deliberate program of settlement after Indonesian Independence. There was, however, a real transmigratie program to Lampung in colonial times. OK to make a change? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Atla5Atla5 (talk • contribs) 08:51, 9 October 2019 (UTC)
Need citations related to the section of ==Figures==
editI'm now translating this article into traditional Chinese, and I need citations to support the sayings in this section. Can the writer or anybody help? Thanks.ThomasYehYeh (talk) 01:15, 6 May 2022 (UTC)
No citations for "Figures" section
editThere is not a single citation for the figures section. Surely this must be against Wikipedia policy somehow?
I don't know much about Wikipedia so I am hesitant to make edits. In some of my basic research I have found this article https://apjjf.org/2017/02/Elmslie.html#_ftn4 which seems to be one of the most serious studies of demographic shift due to transmigrasi in Papua.
