I thought the information in the article was good, just very brief. I think in order to make the article more interesting you should add more information based on statics and real life experiences. This way it would connect to the reader and help them be able to understand in a better way. --TiffaniRombach (talk) 14:54, 12 October 2011 (UTC)Tiffani Rombach:talk--TiffaniRombach (talk) 14:54, 12 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Improving article quality

edit

I've just adjusted the article quality rating to Start-class for WikiProject Psychology based on our assessment scale. Well done to everyone who contributed to improve the article! For next steps, I suggest starting with improving the citations. At the moment, they don't fully match the citation guidelines. Also, references for all medical claims (such as benefits or explanations of how the treatment works) need to meet the medical requirements for reliable sources - in this article, the main issues are the lack of independent secondary sources, i.e. reviews/meta-analyses that aren't performed by the treatment's creators, which is partially seen in the article's over-reliance on the original manual for explanation. It would also be great to include any criticisms (in a reliable source) that the treatment may have received - most treatments have received some, so I'd be shocked if there isn't any. Some parts of the medical guidelines on structuring treatment articles may apply, although it is largely written for medications. Essentially, it isn't a requirement to apply it here, but it may give a starting point. If you have any questions, you can ping me or leave a message on my talk page. You can also ask on the discussion page of WikiProject Psychology. Congratulations again, and good luck with ongoing improvements! --Xurizuri (talk) 22:31, 29 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
