The result of the move request was: page moved per discussion. The objection raised below seems to be adequately addressed by the proposed addition of a hatnote to the top of the article to avoid confusion. - GTBacchus(talk) 22:30, 10 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Treaty of ShkodërConvention of Scutari – per WP:COMMONNAME and Wikipedia:USEENGLISH

Oppose Scutari also refers to Üsküdar, an intracity district of İstanbul. That definition is vastly more popular than Shkoder. Since this article deals with a treaty involving the Ottoman Empire the reader may visualise an incorrect location. The present title is more informative. • Support. I understand logic and rational explanation of Nedim Ardoğa and based on that, regardless of the result of this poll, I propose to add a template with link to disambiguation page with other possible meanings of the name of the article. Still, all wikipedia rules which deal with naming conventions :) , including Wikipedia:Naming_conventions_(government_and_legislation) say something like this: "Prefer titles that reflect the name commonly used in reliable sources." It is obvious that "established, universally agreed-upon common name" used in sources on English language for the topic of this article is "Convention of Scutari". --Antidiskriminator (talk) 14:26, 4 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
