POV Vandals
editHi everyone. I just reverted an edit that tried to push POV. Looking at the edit history, this is not the first time that an IP editor has edited to push POV. D'Souza is described as a conspiracy theorist in his own article, and the claim is source with reliable sources. I don't edit much here so I'm hesitant to ask, but it may be time to protect this article from vandals. Thanks, Xenologer48 (talk) 15:31, 28 November 2020 (UTC)

Far right
editCalling him 'far right' seems to be an opinion and suggests a political bias on the part of Wikipedia. Would it be appropriate for Wikipedia to use the term 'far left' in its articles? To suggest something is far to one side or the other would suggest that Wikipedia takes a political position from which to base other viewpoints from. Wikipedia should be neutral and avoid using such terms. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.113.121.45 (talk) 20:37, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi! Thanks for commenting. Dinesh D'Souza is called far-right by multiple reliable sources, and is described as such on his own Wikipedia article (there are 6 citations there). He is well outside the mainstream of the Republican party/American conservatives. You will note that reliable sources don't describe people like Mitt Romney, John McCain, or Jordan Peterson as far-right. One might argue that they are, and they are all objectively conservative, but reliable sources don't call them far-right, so neither do we.
