Page moved to Silver Wings (parachute team). Vegaswikian (talk) 22:37, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
U.S. Army Command Exhibition Parachute Team - Silver Wings → U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence Command Exhibition Parachute Team - Silver Wings – Relisted. Vegaswikian (talk) 21:24, 14 September 2011 (UTC) This is the appropriate name. The U.S. Army Command Exhibition Parachute Team is the Golden Knights. 150.226.95.18 (talk) 00:30, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
Per the Fort Benning website, the Silver Wings SOP and internal paperwork, the team is officially called the "Command Exhibition Parachute Team", unofficially the "Silver Wings." Although it is associated with the Maneuver Center of Excellence, this association is not included in its title. Perhaps the West Point wiki site can be named "U.S. Army Command Exhibition Parachute Team - Golden Knights" to make the distinction between the two teams clear. - Comment why not just call it Silver Wings (parachute team) ? 76.65.129.5 (talk) 06:16, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
- Rename to Silver Wings (parachute team) per WP:COMMONNAME. No need for a typically pompous military full title when there's a perfectly good short and common title. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:06, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
