- Add a short description.
- Add alt text to the image.
- Add a comma after "Yugoslavia goalkeeper".
- "lost in 1960 final" → "lost in the 1960 final"
- "Costenza" - typo?
- "the 1960 European Nations' Cup champions the Soviet Union" - reword
- "the Soviet Union were" → "the Soviet Union was"
- "and result was determined" → "and the result was determined"
- "struck a shot from angle" - reword
- Sources are archived.
- Ping when done. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 16:27, 17 July 2021 (UTC)

minor error
editThere is a minor error in the third sentence (couldn't see the function to edit this section): "The match was contested by Italy and the previous tournament finalists Yugoslavia." Yugoslavia were actually the losing finalists of the 1960 edition. The previous tournament final (1964) was between Spain and the Soviet Union.78.133.79.177 (talk) 12:44, 11 June 2022 (UTC)GusMalta
Italy Starting XI
editNot necessary but I believe that you should mention:
(i) ZOFF had only made his international debut in previous match, Q/F Vs Bulgaria.
(ii) Apart from RIVA, also MAZZOLA & RIVERA missed the original final Vs Yugoslavia, even though the latter did not play in the replay.
