Context of this article
editIt is intended to be about U.S. doctrine, branching from the globalised article insurgency. There is an article called unconventional warfare, to which this article has no relationship.
My goal is to have articles on the other U.S. doctrines for special operations, such as the work-in-progress foreign internal defense. As time and expertise permit, I'd also like to see articles on other national and regional doctrines.
