Support merger, I'd forgotten about that page move, it was 9 years ago after all, but the University art museums and galleries in the United States has not been further developed or improved, is still largely unsourced and essay-like. I agree, a pared-down version would be a perfect introduction to a list article and wouldn't increase it in size unduly. Sionk (talk) 10:20, 31 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for pinging me, but my involvement all those years ago concerned a different issue, and I don’t really have any opinion on the present one. (Incidentally, I don't think that I would now do what I did back then.) JBW (talk) 12:25, 31 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

WP:LISTORG suggests lists of organizations need independent verification, if they don't have their own standalone article. Several of these entries are cited only to their own (or their university) website. Many other entries have piped links to another (e.g. the parent university) Wikipedia article, sometimes with no independent evidence of their existence. To the person that removed the 'refimprove' cleanup template, I'd say we need to address this problem first. Sionk (talk) 17:07, 31 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
