editCreated article to show that this is now a newly opened redeveloped railway station, formerly known as Ergong Railway Station. With the completion of the Lanzhou-Xinjiang High-Speed Railway, this will become the primary rail transport hub for Urumqi. The station that was formerly called Urumqi Railway Station from 1962 until 2014, has been renamed Urumqi South Railway Station to avoid confusion. Livewireshock (talk) 16:51, 30 December 2014 (UTC)

Urumqi Railway Station → Ürümqi Railway Station – move to correct name of Ürümqi — ASDFGH =] talk? 00:53, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- Support - by itself it doesn't matter (per WP:DIACRITICS), but since the article Ürümqi already uses the diacritics, the train station may as well match. Ibadibam (talk) 02:14, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- Support - Seeing as the city uses the diacritics, for the purposes of consistency this page should be moved.--Alza08 (talk) 08:02, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- Support. --IJBall (talk) 21:10, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
- Support - Unless there is an "official" translation of the name that excludes the diacritics, they should be added to be consistent with the city name. --Difference engine (talk) 01:12, 18 January 2015 (UTC)
