Missing reference

What source is Shepherd 2012? It's in a footnote, but not in the references section.- Andrei (talk) 11:44, 7 October 2021 (UTC)

[1] I disagree with edits like this. Maybe "anticommunism" is superfulous because all far-right movements are anticommunist, but "anti-Serb sentiment" was clearly outright an ideology for this movement. Also, I'd re-add "clerical fascism" is supported by sources in other articles, but OK, we'll need to edit the article here first, sure.Polska jest Najważniejsza (talk) 16:50, 9 November 2021 (UTC)

Propaganda?

This article is suspect. It reflects the ultra Serbian line and is not consistent with the historical facts. Compare this article to that on the Chetniks, the Serb version of the Ustashi. It appears that Wikipedia is condoning thinly disguised propaganda against the Croats. 74.71.11.158 (talk) 21:42, 24 March 2022 (UTC)

Could you explain how this is anti-croat propaganda? CheeseInTea (talk) 15:53, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
This is nonsense. The article needs work, but the lead broadly reflects current international academic consensus on the organisation. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 08:37, 28 April 2022 (UTC)

This article needs work

The ideology section is unfinished and some descriptions are innacurate. 2A02:3030:80B:99C2:1:0:7DE1:47AB (talk) 00:36, 22 April 2023 (UTC)

Misinformation

this article claims member of the Utashe assassinated the King of Yugoslavia, while in reality it was members of the International Macedonian Revolutionary Organization, a group that, while allied, did not claim subordinance to the Utashe. Therefore, the article is in need of revision and editing. It's locked nature impedes this 136.35.193.249 (talk) 20:46, 30 April 2023 (UTC)

Hi. Please provide some sources, preferably academic. I am adding the page to my watchlist but it would be better if someone who knows the topic better made that edit. They too will want sources however so a good place to start is there. Elinruby (talk) 08:59, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
The man who assassinated the king(Vlado Chernozemski) was a member of both the independent Macedonian revolutionary organization and a member of the Ustaše. The assassination was planned by Ante Pavelić and Ivan Mihailov. Napalm Guy (talk) 21:25, 9 July 2023 (UTC)

"The Ustaše espoused Roman Catholicism and Islam as the religions of the Croats and condemned Orthodox Christianity."

Ustaše were and still are Catholics, not Muslims. There is only 1.3% Muslims in Croatia, check Croatian government stats. In civil Croatia war they were fighting against Muslims. So saying Ustaše espoused Islam is false information, please check historic and statistic data. LjubiZubi (talk) 22:40, 11 January 2024 (UTC)

The gaping flaw in your assertion about the population is that the NDH included all of the current nation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. There were plenty of Muslim Ustashas. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 23:18, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
Ustaše is a staunch Catholic organization. Its ideology is National Catholicism. How were the Muslims Ustašes? Andridefian0 (talk) 08:31, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
It certainly was staunchly Catholic, but Pavelić echoed as Starčević's words that the Muslims were the "flower" of the Croatian nation, and as Tomasevich states, there were Muslim members of the NDH cabinet, and many Muslims in the Ustaše. Tomasevich 2000, pp. 489-491 refers. Cheers, Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 08:56, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
