– As per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. The cricketer is the primary topic. Pageviews also show the same. Kpddg (talk • contribs) 04:02, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
- For what it's worth, I'd strongly suggest Vijay Shankar (admiral) over the rather clunky Vijay Shankar (Indian Navy Admiral), as it would be in keeping with other disambiguations for this topic; see, e.g., Sameer Saxena (admiral), Tapan Sinha (admiral), etc. Buttons to Push Buttons (talk | contribs) 11:28, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, I agree. Will change to Vijay Shankar (admiral). Kpddg (talk • contribs) 14:27, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
- Comment. I don't see any confusion to move these articles. Thank you! Fade258 (talk) 05:17, 5 April 2022 (UTC)
- Support the cricketer has 11,242 views compared with only 230 for the Navy Admiral. Crouch, Swale (talk) 08:47, 5 April 2022 (UTC)
- Support Cricketer is the PTOPIC per pageviews data; admiral would suffice as disambiguation for the naval officer -- Ab207 (talk) 17:11, 5 April 2022 (UTC)
- Support I'd suggest when it comes to page views and google hits, the cricketer is now the primary topic. Rugbyfan22 (talk) 17:47, 5 April 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose first, support second as Vijay Shankar (admiral). -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:52, 6 April 2022 (UTC)
- Support cricketer is clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Joseph2302 (talk) 13:19, 6 April 2022 (UTC)
- Support per above. Human (talk) 10:41, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
